I have a dv6t-7000 Quad Edition (Windows 7 64-bit) that I've had for a while and I was wondering why my subwoofer is not working at all. There's nothing coming out of the subwoofer at all. I've tested it with different types of music and tried plenty of bass test on youtube with no luck.
On the IDT drivers, I've turned the bass all the way up (4), and even tried cranking up the bass to 100 on the beats control panel. The beats audio are on and I've even tried turning the lowest frequency up to see if it would change anything at all, but no luck. There's NOTHING coming out of the subwoofer. I've uninstalled IDT drivers and reinstalled the latest one more than a few times (even tried older ones), and even tried deleting the IDT folder to see if it would change anything but nothing. When I plug in headphones, I can hear the bass just fine, but when I'm just using my laptop with nothing plugged in, there's just no bass.
Beats Audio With HP Triple Bass Reflex Subwoofer Driver
Thank you for the fast response. I've tried all of the following but none of it worked. When I open the IDT audio drivers, it seems like the subwoofer is present, but it is still not responsive. Does this mean it is the hardware problem? I've turned in my laptop for warranty and already presented this problem along with another, but all they did was change the keyboard. And all of that took more than four weeks to complete. Since I'm at school right now, I would have to wait until the next break to try again and hope for HP to not make the same mistake. Is there anything else I could try before doing this?
i had an acer with tuba subwoofer then i got the hp dv6 with beats audio and it also has a subwoofer but compared to the acer it is very disappointing but i can live with thatthe thing is in most of songs the sound gos up and down by it self and that is the very very annoying part i tried every thing to avoid this problem but nothing worked
To whom it may concern: I have found the drivers for sp63555.exe and it does not bring back the beats audio that came with my laptop. My laptop is an HP Envy 17t-100 and I have to use the same drivers. Each and every time Windows updates, it erases the beats drivers for my laptop. This is annoying, to say the least due to the fact that the sound on my computer sounds flat. Any advice would help.
Beats Audio enhancement software not only provides improved audio, it lets you swap to different sound "profiles"—pre-programmed equalizer settings designed to bring out the very best sound in movies, games, and different music genres. When paired with the integrated Beats Audio speakers and HP Triple Bass Reflex Subwoofer, you'll likely find the audio to be just as impressive as the visuals. While watching a Blu-ray movie, I was impressed by the quality of the sound even at louder volumes, and the bass response from the subwoofer was a noticeable improvement over the basic sound systems found in other laptops. 2ff7e9595c
